Today, October 6th 2025, Mercury slips into the deep and secretive waters of Scorpio, on the same day the full moon burns brightly in Aries. The skies shimmer with intensity and tension, as the moon opposes the sun in Libra, Mercury in Scorpio and also the full moon in Aries , they both form a square with Pluto retrograde in Aquarius. This is an alignment of revelation and confrontation, a moment when light meets shadow, and the unspoken truths begin to stir from below the surface. Boiling tar.

Mercury’s entry into Scorpio deepens our perception. Here, words are no longer just tools for information, but vessels for transformation. Thoughts and conversations become more penetrating, curious, and emotionally charged. We are drawn to what lies hidden beneath appearances, compelled to investigate motives, secrets, and mysteries. Under this influence, silence speaks volumes, and intuition becomes our most reliable guide.

In Scorpio, Mercury turns inward and downward, seeking meaning in the unseen. The way we think, write, and speak carries power, for our words can uncover, heal, or pierce through denial. This is a time to listen deeply, to observe the undercurrents, and to recognize that communication is not always about noise but about resonance and truth.

In shadows deep, where hollers lurk, Mercury's stealthy footsteps roam. Messages stolen from realms of gloom, cast mysteries through the underworld's dome.

In Greek mythology, Mercury, known as Hermes, was not only the messenger of the Gods but also the trickster, the boundary-crosser, and the silent thief of divine knowledge. He could move freely between the heavens, the earth, and the underworld, carrying messages no one else could deliver. In Scorpio, he wears this archetype fully. He becomes the spy, the infiltrator of hidden realms, the one who gathers secrets from the depths and brings them into consciousness. His words are veiled, careful, and strategic, carrying the energy of both mystery and revelation.

Mercury will travel through Scorpio until November 9th, when he reaches the threshold of Sagittarius and turns retrograde on the same day, while staying in the sing of the archer for a few weeks. This backward motion will pull him once again into Scorpio on November 23rd, inviting us to revisit what was discovered during his first passage. It will be a time to re-examine our motives, our conversations, and the truths we thought we understood. This second descent offers the opportunity to gain clarity and closure, to see what was once obscured in the shadows.

With the full moon in Aries lighting the sky and Mercury diving into Scorpio’s depths, while squaring the Lord of the Underworld, Pluto, this day holds a rare and potent alchemy of fire and water. Is "the beginning of the end", cresting and crashing, to open the Season of the Water Trine . The full moon tonight calls to action, courage, and instinct, while Mercury in Scorpio demands introspection, truth, and transformation. Together, they ask us to act from awareness, to speak with intention, and to face both the light of our desires and the darkness of our fears.

Mercury’s time in Scorpio reminds us that wisdom is not always found in the open. Sometimes it is hidden in whispers, symbols, and shadows. What is concealed is not meant to be feared, but understood. In this cycle, what is spoken and what is silent are equally important, for both can reveal the deeper layers of truth that guide our evolution.

Much love to all, Valentina.
