The Season of Quiet Authority: the Sun Ingress into Capricorn.

On December 21st 2025, the Sun crosses the threshold into Capricorn, beginning a season that lasts until January 19th 2026. This ingress marks a turning of light and focus, where vision becomes responsibility and inspiration seeks form. Capricorn season invites us to slow down,

to assess what has been built so far, and to commit consciously to what we are willing to sustain.

Just before entering Capricorn, the Sun met Mercury in Sagittarius in a Cazimi, a moment of clarity and illumination for the mind. That meeting offered a final breath of meaning, truth, and perspective, as if the story of the past weeks was briefly summarized and understood. What was learned in fire now prepares to be carried forward into structure. Insight becomes intention, and intention becomes something that can be lived.
