On September 22nd, the Sun crosses the threshold into Libra. This moment always marks balance on Earth, the equinox, day and night standing as equals. In the north, the light begins to wane as autumn unfurls his cloak, while in the south, spring, she rises and the days grow long again.

This year, the turning carries extra weight. Just one day before, the New Moon and solar eclipse in Virgo closed a cycle with Mercury’s watchful hand. The Sun leaves Virgo’s domain of careful discernment, where details and rhythms of daily life have been under review, and now steps into Libra’s airy halls. Mercury too travels here, no longer in its own sign, but entering the palace of Venus, where dialogue, connection, and harmony set the tone.

The Sun ignites bathed in Libra's balanced might. Where harmony and justice reign. A golden aura, pure and bright trails a path of justice.

The Sun in Libra brings an archetype of balance, symmetry, and relationship. This is the season of weighing, not rushing, of remembering that every gesture leans toward or away from another. Libra invites us to see through mirrors, how the self is shaped by what it encounters, how beauty is revealed in proportion, how justice depends on equilibrium.

Yet as the Sun settles into Libra, it faces Neptune retrograde across the sky in Aries. Libra and Aries are complements, one seeking reflection, the other pure impulse. One looking to the other, the other reaching from itself. In their tension, we may feel pulled between clarity and confusion, between the urge to act and the longing to dissolve into something larger. Neptune in Aries blurs the sharp outlines of self and action, while the Libra Sun asks for balance, structure, and fair measure.

The story of this ingress is not simple harmony. It is the image of scales flickering in the light, held against the haze of dreams and uncertainty. It is a threshold crossed with both beauty and bewilderment, an invitation to hold still long enough to sense what is real, even when the mists obscure the path.

Much love to all, Valentina.
