Today, November 19th 2025, Mercury retrograde re-enters the sign of Scorpio, returning to
the waters he first stepped into on October 6th 2025. That day carried a full moon in Aries and
a square to Pluto in Aquarius, an alignment that stirred tension, truth, and emotional excavation. Mercury remained in Scorpio until October 29th, when he crossed into Sagittarius, only to turn retrograde there on November 9th. Since then, the mind has been traveling backward through belief, meaning, and understanding, asking us to reconsider what we once thought was certain.
Now he slips back into Scorpio’s realm, bringing the reflection inward once again. Scorpio is not
a sign of surface thinking. It is the place where the mind becomes intuitive, perceptive, willing to touch what lies beneath. Here Mercury listens rather than speaks, feels rather than asserts, and lets the unspoken rise in its own time. This return marks the beginning of the final chapter of Mercury’s last retrograde of the year. He will complete this motion on November 29th, then move through a gentle shadow period of adjustment until December 11th, before returning to Sagittarius to close the year, and stepping into Capricorn on January 1st 2026 to begin a new
cycle with grounded clarity.

On November 17th, Mercury formed a sextile with Pluto in Aquarius, softening the tension that began on October 6th. What once felt like pressure now opens into understanding. Pluto offers depth, and Mercury, in retrograde, is finally able to receive it. This is the quiet healing that comes from seeing clearly what was once hidden.
Mercury prepares now for his Cazimi with the Sun on November 20th, the moment he enters the heart of the Sun itself. In traditional astrology, a Cazimi is considered a seat of clarity, a moment when the mind is purified by light. Mercury loses his usual distance and becomes fully embraced by the Sun, allowing insight to crystallize with surprising simplicity. What has been tangled begins to unknot. What has been confusing begins to speak plainly. This is not thinking, it is illumination from within.
Tomorrow, November 20th, brings the New Moon in Scorpio. Venus stands close by the Sun and Mercury, weaving softness into the intensity, and offering a sense of emotional grace to this deep inner passage. The New Moon in Scorpio is a descent into silence, a moment where renewal begins in darkness. With Mercury in these waters, the mind is invited to listen instead of reach, to feel instead of interpret.
On November 21st, Mercury will meet Lilith in Scorpio, one day after the Cazimi and the New Moon. This brings the unsaid to the forefront, the unclaimed, the instinctual, and the taboo. It is not a disruption, but a recognition. Lilith does not speak loudly, she speaks honestly, asking us to reclaim the parts of the mind or voice we have silenced. The Sun and Lilith met on November 18th, the same day the Sun faced Uranus retrograde in Taurus. Layers of awakening, truth, and liberation have already been unfolding. Now Mercury steps into the same terrain, adding understanding to revelation.
This moment is not chaotic. It is transformative. Mercury’s re-entry into Scorpio invites us to walk back through our thoughts with gentleness. Not to force clarity, but to receive it. The waters are deep, but they are guiding. The Cazimi, the New Moon, the conjunction with Lilith, and the echoes of the Sun’s meeting with Uranus all weave into an initiation of truth that rises slowly from beneath the surface.
May this return of Mercury remind you that understanding does not always come from thinking harder. Sometimes it comes from listening deeper, trusting the quiet shift, and letting the truth find its way to you in its own time.
Much love to all, Valentina.
