Today, November 20th 2025, the sky gathers all its depth into one single breath. A New Moon

in Scorpio meets a Mercury retrograde Cazimi, the moment Mercury steps directly into the

heart of the Sun. This happens in a sign where truth is not discovered through logic, but through descent, through feeling, through the quiet in-between. Scorpio does not offer softness for comfort, but softness for clarity. With Venus and Lilith also present in Scorpio, this new moon becomes something more than a beginning. It becomes a threshold. A veiled doorway into the honest center of the self.

Mercury re-entered Scorpio yesterday, November 19th, but his journey through these waters began much earlier in the story. He first entered Scorpio on October 6th, the same day as the full moon in Aries and an intense square to Pluto in Aquarius. That day initiated a deeper excavation,

a stirring of emotional truth beneath the mind. Mercury remained in Scorpio until October 29th, when he stepped into Sagittarius, only to turn retrograde there on November 9th. Since then,

the mind has been moving backward through belief and meaning, returning now to Scorpio to understand what lies beneath those beliefs.

In the dark waters of Scorpio, the New Moon births her silent knowing, and Mercury Cazimi whispers truth from the heart of the Sun, igniting inner revelation.
In the dark waters of Scorpio, the New Moon births her silent knowing, and Mercury Cazimi whispers truth from the heart of the Sun, igniting inner revelation.

This return is important, because on November 17th Mercury formed a sextile with Pluto in Aquarius, Pluto is one of the Lords of Scorpio, softening the tension that began on October 6th. What once felt pressured or misunderstood begins to open into quiet clarity. This softening becomes the path that leads Mercury toward his Cazimi today. A Cazimi is a moment when Mercury sits in the heart of the Sun, purified by the light, refined by warmth, held in stillness.

It is a reset of perception, a rebirth of the mind. In Scorpio this illumination rises from the depths, not from thought. It is the kind of insight that emerges from intuition, from honesty, from the emotional body.

Surrounding this, Venus in Scorpio adds devotion and depth, reminding us that intimacy with oneself is an act of beauty. Lilith in Scorpio adds instinct, truth, and the clarity that comes from refusing to hide. The Sun and Lilith met only two days ago, on November 18th, revealing something raw and unfiltered. That same day, the Sun stood opposite Uranus retrograde in

Taurus, lightning confronting water, awakening meeting shadow. Today’s new moon carries the resonance of that shockwave. It is almost exactly opposite Uranus, and we can feel the tremor

of that insight. What awakens now may feel sudden, but it has been building.

A Stellium in Scorpio forms the spiritual architecture of this new moon. The Sun, Moon, Mercury retrograde, Venus, and Lilith gather together in one concentrated point of the sky, creating a field of emotional and psychic depth that is impossible to ignore. At the center of this convergence sits the Mercury Cazimi, the mind stepping directly into the heart of the Sun. In Scorpio this is not simply mental clarity, it is an initiation. It is the moment when thought is dissolved into essence, when the deeper truth of a situation rises without effort, when understanding is felt rather than reasoned. Surrounded by Venus’ devotion and Lilith’s instinct, Mercury’s rebirth becomes a revelation that is both tender and unfiltered, both intimate and transformative. This Stellium

does not shout for attention, it pulls us inward, asking us to listen where the quiet is strongest.

Tomorrow, November 21st, Mercury retrograde will meet Lilith in Scorpio, deepening this inner truth even further. The mind will touch what the Sun and Moon illuminated, and what Lilith whispered from the undercurrent. This is not chaos, it is emergence. Scorpio teaches that truth, once revealed, cannot be undone.

All of this unfolds under the long arc of the Grand Water Trine, happening on November 17th,

the Sun in Scorpio formed a flowing trine with Jupiter exalted in Cancer and Saturn retrograde

in Pisces. The emotional body was softened, the intuition strengthened, the spiritual waters put into motion. Jupiter opened the heart, Saturn gave structure to the waves, and the Sun brought light into places we had not fully seen.

The Sun begins to move toward Sagittarius tomorrow, November 21st, and will enter the sign

of the Archer on November 22nd. This new moon is the closing breath of Scorpio season. It is

the moment the underworld opens, not to frighten, but to reveal. It is the final renewal before

the search for meaning returns.

This is one of the most potent new moons of the year. A convergence of depth, intuition, revelation, and internal rebirth. A moment where darkness becomes origin, where the mind is cleansed in the flame of the Sun, where the emotional truth of Scorpio becomes the foundation for the next chapter.

May this new moon guide you gently into your own depths, and the Cazimi illuminates what

was waiting to be seen, and may this descent become the beginning of something truer,

steadier, and quietly powerful.

Much love to all, Valentina.
