October arrives like a hush in the forest, carrying both fire and shadow. The air cools, yet the skies blaze with omens. This is not a gentle month, but one that opens its gates with ancient keys and asks us to walk with courage through its shifting corridors.
The first great turning comes beneath the Super Full Moon in Aries, rising on the nights of the 6th and 7th. It is a moon of embers, bold and unyielding, stirring the pulse of the wild within us. Its light does not soothe but ignites, calling forth what longs to be seen in raw, untamed honesty.

On October 13th, Venus leaves the fields of Virgo and returns to her home in Libra, the masculine airy aspect of Venus. Here she weaves her silken threads, balancing beauty and longing, restoring harmony in places where silence had grown heavy. It is a gentle reprieve, though the air already whispers of deeper waters to come.
The New Moon in Scorpio descends on October 21st, a shadowed doorway inviting secrets to be named and mysteries to be honored. Just beyond, on October 22nd, Neptune re-enters its own oceanic realm of Pisces, dissolving boundaries, softening edges, and reminding us of the dream beneath the world.
The Sun joins Scorpio on October 23rd, ushering us further into the underworld of the season. Light bends into darkness, and every step feels like a descent into hidden chambers.
As the month draws to its close, the nights thicken. On October 31st, the lanterns of Hallow’s Eve glow at the threshold, leading into Samhain on November 1st, when the veil between worlds grows thin and time itself bends. The following day, November 2nd, is All Souls’ Day, a quiet honoring of those who walked before us, whose voices echo still in our bones.
October ends not with closure but with passage, reminding us that the heart of autumn is a story of endings and beginnings woven as one.
Much love to all, Valentina.
