Saturn has slipped back into Pisces on September 1st 2025, and gently begun his retrograde. He will linger in this dreamy sign until November 27th 2025, before returning to Aries, carrying with him subtle shifts in our sense of structure, responsibility, and poetic openness.
Saturn is the ancient guardian of boundaries, the keeper of form and structure. He asks of us steady discipline, of respect for time and limits. When Saturn is in direct motion, we may feel the call to build, to organize, to define what matters most, but in retrograde we need to rebuild, reorganize.

Pisces, by contrast, is the realm of the boundless, the shimmering edge where the self dissolves into the vastness. When we enter Pisces, our walls soften, and our hearts release.
Saturn retrograde in Pisces, then, becomes this intimate story of structure meeting surrender, of discipline learning to drift. A quiet tale unfolds.
Picture a solitary figure on the shore at twilight, stones in hand. Each stone represents form, rule, commitment. He casts them one by one into the ocean. At first the stones sink firmly, deliberate. But as they drift deeper into Pisces’ currents, they dissolve, or shift shape, until what remains is a gentle ripple across deep water.
In this phase, we are invited to notice what rigid patterns we carry that may become porous under softness. What boundaries, once helpful, now feel like barriers to our deeper empathy or creativity? Saturn in Pisces invites us to revisit our rules, our “shoulds” and discern whether they serve our evolving spirit, or whether they are habits that keep us small.
We look inward and ask ourselves, where do I feel confined, not by choice but by design? Where can I allow flow without losing my way? How might I construct my life with gentle precision, honoring both form and formlessness?
This is an interior journey. Saturn’s retrograde in Piscean waters may bring moments when our usual structure feels unstable. We may find our responsibilities blurred, our ambitions refracted through a mist of longing and doubt. And yet in this mist there is tenderness. Here we learn to trust boundaries that breathe, for example, to protect our energy without shutting out wonder.
Saturn finally moves direct, returning to Aries and we step forward carrying what we’ve reclaimed and what we’ve released. We emerge softer, infused with possibility. Our forms, renewed, not rigid, but alive.
May this season offer you the grace to hold form with fluidity, to watch the tides of time with a gentle clarity, and to return home to yourself, shaped by boundary and by dream.
Much love to all, Valentina.
