Venus has stepped into the sign of Cancer, where she’ll linger from July 30th to August 25th 2025. Imagine her arriving not with a grand entrance but with the hush of a tide returning to shore. Familiar, comforting, and quietly radiant.
This is a softer version of Venus. No longer dressed in silk and gold, she now wears linen and saltwater. She walks barefoot through a seaside house filled with flowers, moon shells, and memory. There is warmth in her hands and longing in her eyes. She becomes the one who keeps the hearth lit, the one who places wild roses in a bowl just because they remind her of someone she once loved.
Venus in Cancer is not a showy love. She teaches the language of care through presence, not performance. A hand held a little longer. A letter written and never sent. A silence shared without the need to fill it.

Her realm is the emotional body. The old stories we carry in our bones, the people we long to protect, the places that still echo with the sound of home. As she moves through these waters, we may find ourselves remembering what love felt like before we tried to make it make sense. But no story unfolds without complexity.
Today is August 1st, and Venus in Cancer forms a square to Saturn and Neptune. Both are retrograde and both are in Aries. This is a moment of emotional reckoning. A point in the tale where the heroine hears something hard but needed.
Saturn retrograde might feel like a locked gate. It brings up old boundaries and long-forgotten responsibilities. Neptune retrograde brings a kind of mist, making it hard to tell what’s real and what’s just a memory trying to return. Together, these transits tug at Venus’s gown. They ask her to come back down to earth. To look at what love has cost. To feel where care has been uneven. Either given too freely or withheld out of fear.
It can feel tender. Even a little raw. But this part of the story is not a punishment. It is a clarifying moment. An invitation to nourish ourselves with truth, not just dreams.
A blessing waits ahead.
On August 11th 2025, Venus will meet Jupiter in Cancer. A rare and generous conjunction. Picture a candlelit table beside the ocean, the sky lit by stars, and two great archetypes sitting across from one another with full hearts and open hands. This is where sweetness returns. Where love swells and spills over. It may not look perfect, but it feels real. It reminds us that love, when tended with care, can grow even in fragile soil.
Between now and then, there is time. Time to soften. To notice what hurts and what heals. To offer yourself a kind of affection that doesn’t demand performance. Only presence.
Venus in Cancer doesn’t rush. She doesn’t push. She lets the tides rise and fall, trusting that the sea always returns to itself. And maybe, this season, so will you.
Much love to all, Valentina.
