A Long Wind Begins to Shift: Uranus in Gemini.

Since May 2018, Uranus has been moving through Taurus unsettling the ground beneath our values, resources, and sense of stability. This slow transit has been asking us to reimagine the foundations we stand on, and the meaning of safety in a world that keeps changing shape.

Now, on July 7th 2025, a new current begins. Uranus enters Gemini at 0 degrees, bringing its signature electricity into the airy realm of communication, perception, and multiplicity. This is the start of an eight-year passage that will last until May 22th 2033.

As Uranus glides through the cosmic sea. In Gemini’s embrace, He yearns to be free.

But transitions rarely happen all at once. Between November 7th 2025, and April 25th 2026, Uranus will briefly retrograde back into Taurus a final glance over the shoulder, a return to what is not yet complete. It may feel like the past whispering one last truth before the future fully opens.

In Gemini, Uranus doesn’t move through the body it moves through the mind. The archetype of disruption and awakening stirs the air, scattering old ideas, breaking habitual patterns of speech and thought, and revealing unexpected pathways. It does not come to give answers, but to rewire the questions themselves.

This is a cycle that may invite us to examine how we listen, how we speak, and what we believe about the world and each other. What have we inherited through language? What stories are due for reinvention? Where have we been repeating without reflection?

You’re not asked to keep pace with the speed of change only to stay present as it unfolds. A new rhythm is forming. Let it move through you with curiosity and care.
